Massage is an age old healing system; touch is an important human need – it can relieve, reassure & restore.
Whatever your sport, work or leisure pursuit, increasingly people are turning to massage for its wide ranging benefits.
Regular massages can support existing exercise regimes and assist the rehabilitation of many common ailments and injuries including back & shoulder pain, muscles strains and other musculoskeletal problems, reducing inflammation in sore muscles. Massage brings suppleness to muscles, frees up and mobilises joints, helping to realign the body and improve posture.

Aromatherapy Massage
Aromatherapy massage is a soothing full body massage therapy using specifically blended essential oils tailored to your needs. During an aromatherapy massage, you inhale the essential oil molecules as well as absorb them through your skin. Aromatherapy massage can help reduce anxiety, ease depression, speed up the healing process, alleviate headaches, boost cognitive performance, induce sleep, strengthen the immune system, reduce pain, improve digestion and increase blood and lymphatic circulation.

Deep Tissue Massage
This type of intensive massage helps to break up scar tissue and promotes faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation. Deep tissue massage therapy can be for a specific area with concentrated treatment or a full body massage that is mainly used to treat strains and sports injuries.

Hot Stones Massage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Hannah has completed training in manual lymphatic drainage, the aim of this therapy is to aid the body in moving the lymphatic fluid that carries away waste products. In turn this movement of fluid can help to reduce swelling.
The technique uses light stretching style massage to promote the movement of fluid to the nearest lymph nodes to drain and prevent build up and stagnation of lymphatic fluid.
The treatment can be used as a general tonic to the body cleaning out congested areas and promoting relaxation.
Under medical advice, the treatment can be used after surgery to help with:
- Recovering from cancer treatment.
- Post surgery swelling.
- Lymphoedema.
- Chronic venous insufficiency.
- Psychological stress.
Medical consent is required for people with current and ongoing conditions. Please get in contact if you are unsure whether you would require medical consent.

Pregnancy Massage
Massage therapy during pregnancy is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal care. It is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Pre-natal massage can reduce oedema (swelling), relieve carpal tunnel pain, alleviate headaches and sinus congestion, reduce stress on weight-bearing joints, leg cramping, sciatica, encourage blood and lymph circulation, help to relax nervous tension and help relieve depression or anxiety caused by hormonal changes. Pregnancy massage is a nurturing experience for both mother and baby and can help to promote a healthy happy pregnancy as well as labour and recovery period. Pregnancy massage is generally considered safe after the first trimester, any concerns or diagnosed conditions should be discussed with your therapist prior to treatment.
