We’ve had a busy few months here at Wincanton Chiropractic Clinic — full of exciting arrivals (and one heartfelt goodbye). Here’s what’s new!
👋 Meet James Bentley – Osteopath & Acupuncturist
We’re delighted to welcome James Bentley, who brings 20+ years of experience in osteopathy, acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. Having studied at both Westminster and Middlesex Universities, James has worked across hospitals, private clinics, and even taught acupuncture at CNM.
With a background in Pilates too, James takes a holistic approach — whether you’re suffering from chronic pain, sports injuries or postural niggles, he’ll help get to the root of the issue (not just the symptoms!). Expect thoughtful, well-rounded care from someone who really knows his stuff. 🙌
🏃♀️ Say Hello to Frankie Amat – MSK Rehab & Sports Specialist
Next up, a big welcome to Frankie Amat, our new MSK Rehabilitation Specialist!
With over 14 years’ experience (and a chiropractic background), Frankie specialises in helping active people recover from injury and reach peak performance. From sports rehab and post-op recovery to chronic injuries, her tailored programmes are designed to get you moving with confidence again.
🚴♀️ Cyclists — take note! Frankie also offers:
Lactate Testing: Pinpoint your training zones
FTP Testing: Improve power & endurance
Outside the clinic, Frankie plays for Shaftesbury Ladies FC, golfs at Westbury, and walks her rescue greyhound. She’s also a bit of a foodie — so local café recs welcome! 🍽️🐾
👨⚕️ Welcome Back, Brian Jones – Chiropractor
We’re thrilled to welcome Brian Jones DC to the team — and this one’s a bit of a full-circle moment! Brian first encountered chiropractic care here as a patient, and with family once working on our reception, it really is a homecoming.
Brian qualified as a Chiropractor in 2008 and has a fascinating background — including a Master’s in Public Health Nutrition and global humanitarian work. He’s also recently trained as a Physician Associate, giving him great insight into both chiropractic and NHS care pathways.
Thoughtful, approachable, and experienced — Brian is already proving to be a fantastic addition.
💐 Farewell, Lubina Pun
Lastly, a fond goodbye to our lovely Lubina Pun, who is moving on after several amazing years as a Chiropractor at the clinic.
Lubina has been a huge part of the WCC family, known for her gentle approach, clinical excellence, and warm personality. She’s relocating to be closer to family and joining a wonderful new clinic — and while we’ll miss her dearly, we know she’ll continue doing great things.
Thank you, Lubina — you’ll always be part of the WCC story. ❤️
